Gwyneth is starting to swing on the big girl swing.
For you parents this may seem late, but it's not that she was still using the lil' swings, she's just never been a big swing girl, so she usually avoids them altogether.
Not anymore. She's all about 'higher, push me higher'. And this leads to the tragic accident of yesterday afternoon. Not pictured here, because Mommy left the park with the camera. But as Jeremy was pushing Gwyneth he suddenly noticed her flying straight forward with arms flapping like a little bird and down to the earth she fell. Now, we aren't pushing her THAT high, so it might have been a three foot fall. but that was enough to lead to shaking and tears and quite a few scratches and bruises. Poor girl. Come to find out, she let go to push the hair away from her face. Oooops. A lesson you only have to learn the hard way once.....hopefully.
Our brave girl was ready to get back on a different swing the very next day. We kept the pushing to a minimal this time.
